About Me

Thank you so much for passing by! I started blogging years ago, but never kept up with any of the blogs I had. Four years ago, after I got married I started another blog called – 18thfloorchronicles. I semi-kept up with it, but I wasn’t happy with the platform so much. Before moving to Kuwait, I tried out WordPress and that’s how I got here!

I grew up in the south! From the land of cows and the Cowboys! I am an opinionated Texan with thoughts and ramblings regarding my life and experiences. I love to cook, travel, and spending time with my friends and family. I am a follower of Christ and try to live my life the way He would want me to even though I fail so much! I am married to a wonderful man who I am able to Live every moment, Laugh everyday, and Love beyond words.

After living in the great land of Texas (Click here for the song), I moved to Toronto in 2009. Sorry I have no song for Toronto! Moving to Toronto was a big change for me! The lifestyle is different, the people are different, the roads are weird, the street names are unpronounceable (Word of advice: Don’t pronounce the streets as your GPS does!)  But there was a whole bunch of culture! Toronto is like a melting pot of the world!! I was able to meet all sorts of people, and learn about different cultures.. Once I started enjoying Toronto and getting used to things, it was time to move… and of the places to move, we moved to Kuwait!

So starts my stories of my experience of living as an expat in Kuwait. I hope you enjoy and please don’t forget to leave your comments!!

I am not into reading blogs. But after having met you here in KW, I was motivated to read your blogs, especially after I got to know that you write about your travels and cooking (something that I do because we have to live :-))
You write really well and I love the use of the word ‘The Husband’ in your blogs. God bless you and ‘The Husband’ and use you for His glory. Praise God for bringing you to this part of the world…
